Homemade Scrubs

Miaaaaaaam

I used honey and butter on my lips for moisture, cream cheese on my neck for smoothing, and my favorite one of them all: leftover coffee dregs mixed with olive oil for body scrub in the showaaaa…bit messy, but oooh, so nice and scruby. There isn’t any scrub I can buy that will be better than that. But I do admit I rarely do it, because I am soooo lazy in the mornings. I can only f unction after 2 hours.

But I decided one day to mix a concoction. I took two empty jars, painted them with the inspiration of a 6 year old, maybe less, even 6 year old kids are more imaginative, and mixed the ingredients. Also, i didn’t measure anything, really, you can just mix a little of everything and see how the consistency turns out and put some more of the solid ingredients or the liquid ones. It’s up to you.

Face scrub

-honey

-sugar

-coconut oil

-jojoba oil

Body Scrub

-honey

-sugar

-olive oil

-essential orange oil

So I use the face scrub once every 3 days in the evening on a clean face. I rubba rubb rubb, and then i get left with a reddish skin, and a bit oily, but it calms down in a couple of minutes, and the oils seep through. It’s really hydrating and I don’t need to use a moisturizer, and it feels clean and soooft, and it’s just gooood. I’ve had no breakouts and no issues, and you can use a fine sugar kind, mine is a bit clumpy, and i get the occasional sugar crystal in my eyebrows. But who cares? I iz delicious, hmmm?

Only good things in the same general line goes for the body scrub. Replace essential orange oil with whatever tickles your nose.

So, are you in for kitchen duty?
